AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has dismissed reports claiming that they have agreed a fee with Arsenal FC for the transfer of Mario Balotelli.
Mario Balotelli have been linked with a move to Arsenal since the start of the summer with Arsene Wenger looking to add to his firepower upfront. Recent reports suggested that the Gunners have agreed a fee of A?15.8million for the Italian international and personal terms have also been agreed upon. But AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has dismissed these claims, insisting that the club is yet to receive any bid from Arsenal.
Arsenal are in need of a striker this summer after having to completely rely on Olivier Giroud last season. The Gunners have already signed Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona and Arsene Wenger has hinted at the possibility of playing him through the middle next season.
But the London club are still in need of a striker who can provide Giroud with competition in the squad and a host of names have been linked with a move to the Emirates.
Mario Balotelli was the first name to be linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, but following a disappointing World Cup for the Italian striker, these rumours died down. Loic Remy was also believed to be on Arsene Wengerai??i??s wish list, but reports suggest that Arsenal were unwilling to meet his demands for wages and the QPR striker is believed to be on the verge of joining Liverpool now.
Recent reports in English media suggested that Arsene Wenger has made his move to sign Mario Balotelli and a fee of A?15.8million has been agreed with AC Milan. But Adriano Galliani, CEO of the Italian club, was quick to dismiss these reports. Galliani insisted that the club is yet to receive any bid for the Italian striker.
