Liverpool FC have officially confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan internationalai??i??s future has been under immense speculations this summer with Barcelona being linked with a move. Now after days of conjectures, Liverpool have finally confirmed that a deal has been agreed up with the Catalan club for the transfer of Luis Suarez.
Suarez, who joined Liverpool from Ajax in 2010, has become a fan favourite due to his outstanding performances and consistency on the pitch over the last two seasons. The 27-year-old scored an incredible 31 goals in 33 appearances for the Merseyside club last season as he spearheaded the club towards an incredible title challenge, which eventually fell short and they finished second behind Manchester City.
Suarez was in the middle of a transfer saga last summer as well when Arsenal were interested in signing him, but Liverpool eventually managed to keep hold of their talisman last season. But they could do nothing this time around as Barcelona came snooping in after enduring a disappointing season in La Liga. The fee involved in this deal is believed to be around A?75m.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has wished Suarez luck ahead of his new adventures in Spain, but has assured the fans that the club will move on and will be stronger with newer additions.
“Luis is a very special talent and I thank him for the role he has played in the team in the past two years, during my time at Liverpool.
“I think he would be the first to accept he has improved as a player over that period, along with the team and has benefited from being here, as we have benefited from him.
