Tim Sherwood is working on his first transfer as Spurs boss and the fans will be delighted with the man he isAi??targeting, Italian starlet and four goal wonder Domenico Berardi.
The 19-year-old garnered the admiration and prominence after he put in a tremendous display for Serie A side Sassuolo against giants AC Milan.
It is reported that the Tottenham boss is looking to make contact with Juventus – who own the player – in a bid to lure the youngster to White Hart Lane.
Berardi’s agent Simon Seghedoni told TuttoJuve amidst vast speculations linking him toAi??Werder Bremen in the winter window, that his client will not leave the club till the end of the season.
“If there is one certainty it’s that Domenico will be at Sassuolo until the end of the season. He has no will to leave and the club have no intention of letting him go”.
The Italian champions signed the 19-year-old in the summer of 2013 from Sassuolo and loaned him back to the side till the end of the season. The striker has impressed hugely, scoring 12 goals in 16 league appearances.
Manchester United and Chelsea are the two other sides targeting the 19 year old. The player would add a lot to the Tottenham side and Sherwood would be eager to rope in the services of the Italian prodigy.
Hugo Lloris could leave without top 4 finish
The France international has had a successful personal tenure at the Premier League club since his arrival from Lyon in 2012 but has reinstated the value of a champions league berth by saying that he would have to reconsider staying with the Lilywhites should the club finish outside the top 4.
The keeper’s comments hint he could be open to a move away from White Hart Lane if Spurs miss their objectives.
