Agent of Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez has dismissed rumours claiming that the German international has agreed a deal to join Fiorentina.
Statistically Mario Gomez has been one of the most prolific strikers in Europe in recent years. Yet surprisingly enough, he has an unsure future at Bayern Munich. Since the arrival of Mandzukic, he became the second choice striker, and now with the club being linked with strikers like Lewandowski and Suarez, it seems like his days at the Allianz Arena are numbered.
Gomez, who has scored an incredible 113 goals in 174 appearances for Bayern Munich, signed a four year contract last season with the German club. But his agent has revealed earlier this month that the striker is looking for a move away from the club in order to gain regular first team football.
The prolific striker was initially linked with a move to Napoli, who are preparing for life without Edinson Cavani. Reports from Italy suggested that Gomez has already agreed to sign for the club even before the season ended. But his agent later denied those claims and said that there has been no contact with the Italian club.
The 27-year-old was then linked with a host of clubs which includes the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Juventus. Recent reports from Italy suggested that Gomez has agreed to join Serie A side Fiorentina on a four-year deal, but his agent has now rubbished all those claims and has revealed that Gomez will return to the club for pre-season training.
“He has not agreed with any club and will train today, and in the next few days, in Munich, as normal.

This comes days after new Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola insisted that Gomez is still a part of his plans at the club. So now it looks like there is a slim chance ofAi?? Gomez still having a future at the club, although if Bayern buy one more striker this summer, that slim chance will disappear very soon.
