Romelu Lukaku has been in devastating form for Everton this season and has already smashed in 15 goals in the Premier League, he added one more to his season’s tally as he headed the Toffees to glory against Manchester City.
In the 78th minute, a perfect Gareth Barry cross infiltrated the Manchester City penalty area and the Belgian forward latched on to it to smash in the winning goal. Everton now have a 2-1 advantage thanks to that first leg victory in the Capital One Cup semi-final. This has taken the 22-year-old’s total of goals this season up to 19 and from the looks of it this could be Lukaku’s breakthrough season.
