Arsenal FC Transfer Rumours: PSG Starlet Trying To Force A Move To London?

Rising PSG star Adrien Rabiot seems to have had enough of the French capital and is reportedly trying to force his bosses at Ligue 1 champions PSG to sell him to Arsenal FC.

.

Having made just nine appearances in the Ligue 1 so far this season, Rabiot feels that he is getting starved of football action, and is trying to force a move to Premier League leaders Arsenal FC, according to French outlet Buzz Sport.

Gunners forced to look for midfield reinforcements?

Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger has quite a lot of top quality midfielders at his disposal. Most of them however, are unavailable, with the likes of Tomas Rosicky, Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin (knee), and Jack Wilshere (ankle) suffering from long term injuries.

While the likes of Mathieu Flamini, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut zil have been carrying the Gunners through in the last few matches, Wenger would surely be looking to get a few other midfielders into the squad, in order to cope with the demanding schedule of the English season.

Rabiot could be a cheap acquisition for Wenger

The 20-year-old Frenchman is one of the brightest young prospects out of France at this moment, especially in the midfield region. However, with the lack of game time, it seems that Rabiot is being driven out of the Ligue 1. He has three and a half years still to go on his contract, which indcates that PSG can ask for a fairly large transfer fee for him.

However, the fact that the player himself is gunning for a move, might have a bearish effect on his price. Transfermarkt rates Rabiot at ai??i??8 million, but Arsenal FC might have to cough up a bit more than that to get him. At any rate, this would be quite cheap for a 20-year-old, who is regarded as a bright prospect.
