Paris Saint-Germain’s mercurial striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed about on-going talks regarding a movie on his life, Zlatan: The Movie.
In light of the recent documentary released by the BBC focusing on Wayne Rooney’s life – Rooney: The Man Behind The Goals, and with the trailer being released of Cristiano Ronaldo’s upcoming movie- Ronaldo; Swedish hit-man Zlatan Ibrahimovic has also confirmed that he is currently in discussions over a potential movie based on his life.
The out-spoken forward, who makes the headlines as much for his on-field heroics as well as his off-field punchlines is one of the most celebrated footballers of modern times and is also one of the most quoted ones.
The former FC Barcelona striker has won titles in almost all countries that he has plied his trade in. The Swedish government has also included a verb in their dictionary in honour of the footballer – Zlatanera, which means ‘to dominate’.
The forward refused a trial with Arsenal FC at the age of 19, famously saying – “Zlatan doesn’t do audition.”
Speaking during his international team’s press conference, the forward was quoted by Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet as saying:
“We’re negotiating. We’ll see. It would have been fun if we could put something out. It’s not just to say “I want” and someone says ” we can do it .”
