Neymar scored two minutes after the opening kick off and again two minutes from the final whistle to lead FC Barcelona to a 3a 1 victory over Villarreal in the return leg of the Cup semi-final. Andres Iniesta, who was the captain of Barca for this game, said he is proud of making into the final of the cup.

Apart from Neymar, Luis Suarez also scored for FC Barcelona as they beat the Villarreal 6-2 on aggregate. Jonathan Dos Santos managed to score the only goal for Villarreal in the first half.

Villarreal played last 25 minutes of the game with ten men as Tomas Pina was sent off for his vicious tackle on Sergio Busquets. The FC Barcelona midfielder left the game on stretcher and is certain to miss the next few games due to injury.

Andres Iniesta, the captain of FC Barcelona for the night, said that he is happy with the performance of his team mates.

“We’re very happy, now we can focused on the other two competitions,” Andres Iniesta told reporters.

“Reaching a final is something to be proud of. We are always expected to reach finals but it is actually very hard.

“Athletic will be very difficult in the final. The Santiago Bernabeu would be a great stadium to play at in the final but the important thing is that we’re in the final and trying to win it.”

FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was also pleased with the performance of his players. But he also advised them to maintain the focus to win the trophy.

a Reaching the final is good, but we must now focus on other things. Wea re happy, thata s true, but wea ll see [what happens next],a Luis Enrique said.

a Scoring from our first attack wasna t planned. We didna t want an end-to-end game, we wanted to be in control.

a We knew the difficulty of this game and didna t want many critical moments [to occur]. We just wanted to seek control.

a Our objective was to win the match but also take control because we knew they were going to cause us problems.

a I have nothing to say [about where the final will be played]. I dona t care where ita ll be played and who the opponents will be.a

FC Barcelona will now face Athletic Bilbao, who see off the challenge of Espanyol, in the finals of Copa Del Rey.
