Ibrahimovic pick’s his side in the debate which has been dividing the footballing universe for years
Ibrahimovic has played with Lionel Messi during his short and controversial stint with FC Barcelona and has always heaped praise on the diminutive Argentine.
During the interview with Sports Illustrated, Ibrahimovic labelled Lionel Messi as ‘fantastic’, while Real Madrid‘s Cristiano Ronaldo only received a ‘good’ remark from the 33-year-old, who referred to himself as ‘wow’.
However, it is not the first time that the Swede has praised Messi. Couple of year’s ago, Ibrahimovic was quoted as saying:
. “Messi does not need his right foot, though. He only uses the left and he’s still the best in the world!
“Imagine if he also used his right foot… Then we would have serious problems!”
Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain for some-time now, with AC Milan, Manchester United, and Arsenal FC reportedly keen on his services.
