[Video] Thibaut Courtois Returns To Training After Knee Surgery

Amongst all the hoopla surrounding relegation-threatened defending Premier League champions, Chelsea FC fans are finally privy to some good news. Their No. 1 goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has finally joined the rest of the first team in training this week.

.

Chelsea FC made the announcement on their official Twitter account, with a video of the Belgian keeper entering the field, and a voice-over saying, “Thbaut Courtois able to rejoin the group for the first time in a couple of months as part of his ongoing rehabilitation.”

Courtois has had a lengthy layoff from a knee injury, for which the 23-year-old keeper required surgery on his damaged ligament, a couple of months back.

Although, manager Jose Mourinho had said that Courtois would not be seeing any action at least till December, this is some good news for the Chelsea FC fans to cling on to, in an otherwise nightmare of a season. Click on the tweet below, to see Courtois returning to training.
