The trailer of one of the most awaited documentaries in the world of football, Ronaldo, was released earlier today.
The documentary encompasses the journey of one of the greatest footballers of the present generation, Real Madrid and former Manchester United superstar- Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo started out with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon, before moving to English Premier League giants Manchester United, where he rose to fame and became one of the best footballers in world football. After spending six years with the Red Devils, Cristiano moved to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in a A?80 million deal, becoming the world’s most expensive footballer at the time.
It is at Real Madrid, where Ronaldo was considered to be among the two best players in the world, alongside arch-rival Lionel Messi. The duo have dominated the Ballon d’Or, sharing the last 7 awards between them and it was this rivalry, which has pushed Ronaldo in his quest to become the best in the world.
The documentary has been made by the team responsible for other legendary documentaries including Senna and Amy and has been directed by Anthony Wonke.
