With the score at 0-0, Manchester United’s makeshift right-back Ashley Young took a theatrical tumble in an attempt to win a penalty for his side against CSKA Moscow. The Red Devils were not awarded a penalty however, and the Englishman was heavily criticised following the match for his attempt to con the referee.
Manchester United legend Roy Keane was asked for his opinion on the incident on ITV Sport’s coverage of the Champions League on Wednesday, and as always, the Irishman made no attempts to mince his words, labelling Young ‘an absolute disgrace’.
