Liverpool got their pre-season tour off to the right start and won 4-0 against Thai All Stars.

The Thai capital was the first stop for the Merseysiders’ pre season tour that will see them playing at Malaysia and Australia next.

The torrential rain failed to dampen the mood of the excited crowd and Liverpool ended the game in nearly unplayable conditions.

Brendan Rodgers opted to play two entirely different teams for both halves.

New signings impress along with some old faces

New signingsAAdam Bogdan, Joe Gomez and Danny Ings were seen in the first half while James Milner and Nathaniel Clyne played the second half.

Joe Gomez and Danny Ings both looked very lively in the first half and Liverpool fans were given a hint of what they could expect from them in the coming season.

Goals from Lazar Markovic, Mamadou Sakho, Adam LallanaAand Divock Origi, who made his first appearance for the Reds,Aended the game in Liverpool’s favor.

YoungsterAJoao Carlos TeixeiraAimpressed greatly in the first half and set up both Lazar Markovic and Mamadou Sakho’s goals. It was a clever pass that found the Serbian in the opening minutes while Sakho’s goal came from Teixeira’s corner.

Lazar Markovic himself played very well, operating from the tip of the diamond. He made a case for himself and better things can be expected from him in his second season.

Origi scored a thumping header from a Henderson corner in the end minutes. The Belgium deserved the goal thoroughly as he had two attempts denied by the post, and another one denied by a superb save from the Thai goalkeeper.

Henderson’s rabona, the eye-catching moment of the match

What caught the eye particularly, however, was Adam Lallana’s goal which was set up deliciously by Liverpool’s new captain.AIt was the 52nd minute and Henderson picked out Adam Lallana with a cheeky rabona who thundered home the third goal of the night.
