Liverpool FC new signings Danny Ings and James Milner score, whilst Jordan Ibe showed why Reds let go of Raheem Sterling in their 2-0 win over Adelaide United.

.

James Milner, who joined on a free transfer last month from Manchester City, was on target in the 67th minute for the second time in four days as Liverpool FC continue their 100% win record in the pre – season.

Milner had also scored the winner in a 2-1 victory over Brisbane Roar on Friday.

Fellow new boy Danny Ings sealed the victory against Adelaide with Liverpool FCa s second goal in the 88th minute to cap a strong all-round performance by the Merseyside giants before 53,000 at the Adelaide Oval.

Joe Gomez and Divock Origi put in fine performances too as they stretched the opposition defense by running riot on the flank.

However, the performance of the match was given by Jordan Ibe, who is touted to be the replacement for Raheem Sterling at the club.

Ibe was electrifying for the Merseyside giants throughout the game, making the James Milner goal.

Praising the player, manager Brendan Rodgers insisted that the player has a long way to go and must continue working heard if he has to deliver on his massive potential.

a He is still very young, he is still 19 years of age but you can see the potential in him,a Rodgers said.

a He just needs to be continually working hard at his game. He has still got a long way to go for that consistency but everyone sees that potential.

a He went out on loan last season and came back to be part of the first team so he is very much part of the squad.

The video of the Liverpool FC performances can be seen below.
