Liverpool FC kept their third clean sheet in as many game to take away a solitary point from the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners were thwarted by Reds’ Belgian stopper Simon Mignolet. Acknowledging his performance in the aftermath of the game, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers hailed the goalkeeper’s display.
Liverpool FC goalkeeper Simon Mignolet had faced some severe criticism last season for his poor performances in the first half of 2014-15. The ‘keeper eventually recovered after being dropped from the side to put in some assured display towards the end of the season.
Continuing his form thereon, Mignolet has been a key performer as Liverpool FC have kept three clean sheets in a row. The stopper was on hand to deny Arsenal FC with some wonderful saves.
