AFC Bournemouth’s Junior Stanislas scored a goal directly from a corner kick to get his club into the lead against Manchester United in a match that they eventually won 2-1.
Going into the match, AFC Bournemouth fans must have been thinking that last week’s high of defeating defending Champions Chelsea was going to be as good as it gets in their debut season in the Premier League, but they were in for an ecstatic surprise as the Cherries pulled off a 2-1 victory over 20-time League Champions Manchester United.
Junior Stanislas opened the proceedings in the 2nd minute with a shocker of a goal from a corner kick! The goal swerved in the wind and crept under the bar and beyond David de Gea as the Vitality stadium erupted.
