Inter Milan suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Fiorentina with a shock 4-1 defeat at home, with goalkeeper Samir Handanovi guilty for the Viola’s first two goals
Samir Handanovi has been one of the most consistent keepers in the Serie A over the past few seasons, but had an absolute nightmare in Sunday’s top-of-the-table Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Fiorentina at the San Siro.
The Slovenian shot-stopper conceded a very early penalty for a foul on Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalini , allowing Fiorentina to take the lead and play on the break against a shell-shocked Inter Milan side. Before long, Kalini bundled home the Viola’s second, after Handanovi palmed a shot from long range onto his own goal-line, straight into the path of an onrushing Kalini .
