Arsenal FC missed out on the perfect chance to leapfrog Leicester City to the top of the table, as they were thrashed 4-0 by Southampton FC at the St. Mary’s Stadium.
While the loss was devastating for the Gunners, there wasn’t much they could do about the first goal, a 19th minute thumper by Dutch right-back Cuco Martina, who was making his first Premier League start and what a start it was.

Martina curled in an absolute wonder of a shot with the outside of his right boot which spun between two Arsenal players, somehow making its way past a very densely populated penalty area and into the back of the net. This is definitely a contender for the goal of the season.
