Former Manchester United defender, and current Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has launched a scathing attack on Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger during Sky Sportsa Monday Night Football show.
Analyzing Arsenal FC’s title chances this season, Neville was quick to quash the Gunners chances.
Slamming the manager Arsene Wenger for his signings in the past decade, Neville questioned why the Gunners boss changed from Patrick Vieira, Emmanuel Petit, and Gilberto to Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini,
Neville went onto add that he cannot understand why Wenger did not sign powerful players like the ones he had pre-2005 and instead chose to sign technicians like Cazorla and Ramsey. Neville said that it is due to such players that Arsenal FC cannot win the league, going on to add that Wenger is ‘either naive or arrogant’ for not buying those type of players anymore.
