The Football Association of Wales has released a tribute video for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale, who has been crowned the Welsh Player of the year.
Bale has been awarded the Welsh player of the year record for a record fifth time, while he has also won the players’ player of the year and the fans’ player of the year after his invaluable contribution in helping his national team reach the brink of Euro 2016 qualification. Wales’ top form during the qualification has seen the team rise up to ninth in world ranking, one point ahead of rivals England.
Wales need one more point to ensure qualification for its first major tournament since 1958 and Gareth Bale has scored 6 goals in the qualification.
