Cristiano Ronaldo joined Raul as Real Madrid’s all time top scorer with a brace against Swedish side Malmo in the Champions League group stage last night.

The Portuguese also completed a personal milestone of 500 goals as he thumped in Isco’s clever pass for Los Blancos’ first goal.

Ronaldo also surpassed Real Madrid legend Raul as the club’s leading scorer in Europe with 67 goals. The night was memorable for the Portuguese, who has now scored 323 goals for the Santiago Bernabeu outfit in 308 games.

Considered to be one of the two best player’s in the world of football, Ronaldo was delighted with his feat and expressed his happiness at equaling Raul’s record in a post-match interview. The 30-year-old was also content with his goal-scoring record in Sweden and wished to return to the country later.
