Real Madrid’s stuttering start to the new season and the failure to win the UEFA Best Player in Europe award has not deterred Cristiano Ronaldo on the training ground, as he bamboozled the trio of Carvajal, Modric and Lucas in training ahead of the game against Real Betis.
Ronaldo showed some electric footwork to score a wonderful training goal for Real Madrid, using a deft touch to tease Lucas before beating him along with Dani Carvajal and Luka Modric and finishing expertly in the bottom corner.
Real Madrid will host Real Betis in their first home game of the new season, and the fans will hope that their talisman can display the same sharpness he has on the training pitch.
