Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is known for expressing his unhappiness when on field decisions don’t go his way during a game and it was more of the same as Real Madrid were held to a frustrating draw against Sporting Gijon.
Real Madrid started their La Liga campaign against minnows Sporting Gijon, however, the Spanish giants were held to a 0-0 draw away from home and Ronaldo was absolutely livid when his claims for a penalty were waived off by the referee.
In Rafa Benitez’s first competitive game in charge, Los Blancos managed to muster an incredible 27 shots on goal without managing to break the deadlock. However, the La Liga runners up should have been awarded the penalty as Cristiano was obviously fouled as is shown in the video. Real Madrid next face Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu on 30th August..
