Terror raises its ugly head outside the Stade de France during a friendly match against Germany
A sad day for football fans as terror raised its ugly head once again in Paris, including outside the Stade de France, where France were hosting Germany in one of the more high-profile international friendlies played on Friday.
The match was not abandoned however, and it was unclear whether players, match officials and fans were aware of the true magnitude of the terrorist attack on the city. Several areas of the bustling metropolitan were reportedly targeted, and two bombs went off close to the stadium.
