A young Liverpool FC side was held to a 1-1 draw at Bordeaux as the Reds win-less streak extends to four games in all competition. Despite that, manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that his players remain calm and focused in the face of mounting pressure.
Following two crushing defeats against West Ham United and Manchester United, pressure had been mounting on Liverpool FC boss Brendan Rodgers and his players ahead of their Europa League fixture. The draw against Bordeaux does little to ease the pressure even though Rodgers’s side featured a lot of young players who put in a decent display to earn the draw.
Goal from Adam Lallana was not enough as the Reds were held to a 1-1 draw in France.
Speaking after the match, Rodgers insisted that his players remained calm and focused.
