Arsenal FC defender Laurent Koscielny scored an incredible Rabona goal during an open training session on Arsenal FC’s annual Members’ Day.
The French defender balanced the ball on the front of his foot and performed an around-the-world trick, before apparently losing control of the ball. However, the 29-year-old then took a couple of steps before hitting a perfect rabona into the top corner. The ball sailed into the back of the net from all of 20-yards.
Arsene Wenger surprised everyone in the crossbar challenge
The Members’ Day is an annual free event, where around 10,000 fans are given the opportunity to watch their favorite superstars train. The club also organizes other event’s during the training, including the crossbar challenge. In this challenge, the players are required to strike the crossbar with their first effort. However, this time an unlikely hero stole the show.
As the fans got ready for the start of the crossbar challenge, Arsene Wenger picked up a ball. He then dropped it and kicked it nonchalantly on the half-volley. Wenger along with everyone else watched as the ball crashed against the crossbar. Wenger received a huge cheer from the fans for his amazing accuracy.
Arsenal face Chelsea on Sunday in the FA Community Shield, and they are looking in good touch ahead of the season opener. Arsene Wenger would be looking to register his first win over his Portuguese counter-part Jose Mourinho.
