UEFA have awarded Polish side Legia Warsaw a 3-0 win in their Europa League third qualifying round, first-leg tie against Kukesi after trouble marred last week’s match in Albania.

The match last Thursday was abandoned with Legia leading 2-1 after the visitors’ Slovakian midfielder Ondrej Duda appeared to be struck in the head by a stone thrown from the stands.

Legia said that Duda was left with “a one-inch hole” in his head, although he was back on his feet again a few minutes after the incident.

Kukesi have been ordered to play their next two European home games behind closed doors

Kukesi were also ordered to play their next two European home games behind closed doors and were fined 70,000 euros ($76,793, A?49,268) for the setting off of fireworks and throwing of objects, crowd disturbances and the displaying of an illicit banner.

The second leg will go ahead as planned on Thursday.
