[Twitter] Sakho Injury Relief For Liverpool FC; Fans Express Mixed Emotions

With the news breaking through last night that French defender Mamadou Sakho has been ruled out for up to 8 weeks, Liverpool FC fans took to Twitter to express their feelings on another player falling prey to a knee injury.

The Reds have lost Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and now Mamadou Sakho to knee ligament damage, with Daniel Sturridge having fluid built up in his knee cap.

While Gomez and Ings are out for the majority of the season due to cruciate ligament damage, a scan earlier on Monday revealed that Sakho had escaped injury to his cruciate ligament and will be out for up to 8 weeks due to damage to his knee ligament.

Reacting to the news on Twitter, the Liverpool FC fans were understandably distraught, while at the same time relieved that he had avoided lasting damage that could have sidelined him for the season.

Sounds like Mamadou Sakho’s injury isn’t as serious as first feared. No ACL tear. pic.twitter.com/NDFK8m8vxM a Anfield Online (@anfieldonline) November 9, 2015

Sakho’s injury comes at a very bad time for us. Only got 2 fit CB’s now. a Nikhil (@LfcNik) November 10, 2015

The only positive that comes out of Sakho’s injury is that Lovren has a chance to turn his LFC career around. Lets get behind him lads!
