Excited Liverpool Fans Take To Twitter After Klopp’s First Game In Charge

Jurgen Klopp started his Anfield career with a goalless draw against Tottenham Hotspur, but the German was satisfied with his team’s performance and vows to improve further.

It wasn’t a first-game dazzling display by Liverpool under manager Jurgen Klopp, but we did see glimpses of “full throttle football” that Klopp has vowed to manifest. He believes many positives came out of the draw at White Hart Lane, and promises to build on this result.

“We are little bit too nervous when we got the ball because the pulse was too high in this moment,” Klopp said in the post match press conference.

“I’m completely satisfied. It was a good first step and I can work with this.”

“For today, it’s OK. 0-0’s not my dream result but today its OK!

Liverpool now have thirteen points from nine games, and a top four finish is tempting to think of. After a series of poor results which saw Brendan Rodgers being sacked, the Liverpool fans on twitter are excited about their new manager’s reign, and here is how they reacted to Klopp’s ‘Okay’ start :
