There certainly is no love lost between Arsenal FC fans and Diego Costa. And when Gary Neville tweeted his disapproval of the three-game ban for the Spaniard, the Gooners let the former Manchester United defender know exactly what they felt about it, and definitely not in a nice way.
Diego Costa was cunning in the way he lured Gabriel in doing something stupid and getting him sent off. The Spaniard was subsequently banned for three-games and charged for violent conduct by the FA, with Gabriel having his red card rescinded.
However, Gary Neville expressed his disapproval for the decision by the FA. He wrote on his official twitter account:
3 games for that. At worse it was two yellows = 1 game. Violent? No way..

The Arsenal FC fans, already feeling conned by Costa’s antics at the weekend, did not take too kindly to Neville’s opinion. And it is also fair to say neither did most of the other clubs’ fans who follow the Sky Sports analyst for his sound opinions.
@GNev2 utter bullocks u preaching. 2 hands in his face and a back hand. And i am a United supporter! 3 match ban is fair! a Sasha Vickers (@Sachmozi) September 22, 2015

@GNev2 No problem with footballers being tough guys but not when it’s Pantomime just for the referee’s benefit. a Addy (@Addyylaide) September 23, 2015
