Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos does not want to leave the club to join Premier League giants Manchester United, according to his mother Paqui Garcia.
Manchester United had launched a A?42.5 million bid for Sergio Ramos according to reports, which is their second attempt to land the Spanish defender who is reportedly unsettled at Real.
How ever, the Real Madrid defender’s mother, Paqui Garcia, said that her son does not want to leave the club when interviewed by Antena 3 in Spain, saying: “Of course, Real Madrid before all else.”
When asked about Ramos’ possible move to Manchester United, she added: “No, I don’t think so. He wants Spain.”
The Spaniard has been pursued by Manchester United for quite some time now, with Real Madrid already having . turned down a A?32 million bid for the Seville born defender.
Real Madrid have reportedly demanded A?65m for Sergio Ramos from Manchester United, a sum that would break the British transfer record, which was set when United paid Real A?59.7m for Angel Di Maria last summer.
