Real Madrid Want Casemiro Back

Real Madrida s midfield has looked desperately short of ideas in 2015 and their struggles have had a huge negative impact on the fortunes of the club in the new year. The club authorities are ready to change the looks of its midfield this summer and the player who is on top of president Florentino Pereza s wish list is not Paul Pogba, but their own Casemiro.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is facing a selection dilemma at the moment as Luka Modric and James Rodriguez are out injured and his makeshift midfield has failed to make any impact in their recent matches.

The contract situation of Sami Khedira and recent struggles of his midfield has forced Carlo Ancelotti to look for the alternatives and it appears that he has an inexpensive yet quality solution ready. Real Madrid loanee Casemiro is performing extremely well at FC Porto and the Los Blancos authorities are ready to take him back this summer.

Casemiro, 23, signed for Real Madrid in January 2013. He made 15 appearances for Segunda Division side of Los Blancos in first 6 months and was then promoted to the senior side of the club for 2013-14 season.

The midfielder, however, was behind the likes of Luka Modric, Xabi Alonso, Sami Khedira and Isco at Real Madrid and failed to make any impact in their Champions League winning campaign.

Real Madrid authorities believed in the summer of 2014 that Casemiro needs more experience to become a first team regular and sent him out on loan to FC Porto. This move to FC Porto has proved a career changing for Casemiro it seems as he has fit in quite well into the starting XI of the Portuguese champions.

FC Porto have the option of signing Casemiro on permanent basis before 30th June 2015 but Real Madrid will have the first say in deciding the future of the player. This provision of contract is not going to add any new complications if Real Madrid decide to keep him at the club.

Meanwhile, reports coming from Spain and Portugal have also confirmed the plans of Real Madrid for Casemiro.

Marca has claimed it today that “Casemiro’s progress has been spectacular”. Real Madrid’s reports on the midfield starlet’s spell at Porto could hardly be more gushing. The club is delighted with the Brazilian and is planning to welcome him back into the fold from 30th June. The terms of his loan deal are clear: even though the Portuguese giants have an option to sign Casemiro permanently, Real have the final say on the matter.
