Real Madrid have rejected a world-record a 140 million bid for Gareth Bale by Manchester Untied as per report in Cope.
Fresh from the acquisition of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Matteo Darmian, Manchester United are looking to raid the transfer market again and have launched a record a 140 million Gareth Bale bid which has been rejected by Real Madrid, as per reports in Cadena COPE’s El Partido de las 12.
United officials had, earlier, requested details of a number of current Real Madrid players including Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, along with French defender, Raphael Varane as per reports in Spanish newspaper AS.

Real Madrid had immediately rebuffed any advances for the player reminding the English club that, Gareth Bale had a buy-out clauses of 1000 million euros despite Real Madrid fans being overly critical of Bale last season, blaming the Welsh international’s lack of end product in the second of the season for the club to go trophyless.
However, according to Cadena COPEa s a El Partido de las 12a , Manchester United have refused to give up their four-year pursuit of Gareth Bale, with former manager David Moyes confirming earlier that Manchester United nearly signed the Welshman when he went to Real Madrid.
The club, according to the report, have once again made a massive offer to Real Madrid for the services of the 26-year-old, in region of a 140 million (A?100m).
It does look unlikely that the report is credible with none of the reliable source in England picking such a massive story up.
However, Manchester United had been recently declared the most valuable football brand and posted a record breaking a 159 profit, prompting to reports that they have around 200 million pound to spend on new recruitment.
The club are in the market for a center back, with Valencia star Nicholas Otamendi heavily linked and they certainly have no shortage of money should they want to sign Gareth Bale.
