Manchester United have announced their squad for the UEFA Champions League group stage and have included David de Gea in it, just days after his move to Real Madrid fell through.
.
The Spanish goalkeeper had been deemed mentally unfit to play by the manager due to being distracted by his potential move to Real Madrid.
He had, hence, not played in either of the Champions League qualifying games that United played against Club Brugge. However, his move to Madrid fell through due to issues relating to paper work submission, and now, the goalkeeper will be at the club for at least six months.
