David De Gea is set to return to Manchester United for the first time since his move to Real Madrid fell through under dubious circumstances on the final day of the transfer window. Florentino Perez has now come out with a document that has the time-stamps to prove Manchester United were responsible for the deal to falling through.
Perez had come out and stated earlier in the week that Manchester United were the one at fault for the transfer of De Gea which fell through due to a clerical error.
The error in question was the failure to upload the document that would have validated the deal on to the FIFA TMS transfer system on time.
Perez has now come up with a document to prove that Manchester United failed to complete their bit of the transfer until 23:00 UK time, which meant that Real Madrid could not register the player anymore.
The snapshot of the document is as below.
