Petr Cech And Hugo Lloris On Arsenal Radar To Replace Szczezny

At least, Keeping aint a worry any more

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing Petr Cech and Hugo Lloris to find a replacement for out of form Wojciech Szczesny.

24-year old Wojciech Szczesny may soon lose his place in the Arsenal starting line-up after a few disastrous performances in recent games. The Polish goalkeeper also seems to have created a menace with his attitude problems and lack of discipline. Szczesny was heavily fined after being caught smoking in the showers following his terrible performance in the Gunnersa 2-0 defeat at Southampton and Wenger seems to have lost patience with the stopper.

According to the Daily Mail, Szczesnya s attitude and lack of professionalism has annoyed the senior members of the club including some of the first team names. This has resulted in Wenger asking his scouting staff to look for an apt replacement for the Poland international.

Arsenal seem to have set their eyes on Chelseaa s Petr Cech and Tottenham Hotspura s Hugo Lloris. Both the keepers have been linked with a move away from their respective clubs but Arsenala s rivalry with Chelsea and Spurs will hinder their chances in landing any of the mentioned targets.

French international Hugo Lloris is a regular in the Tottenham line-up and a move to Arsenal does not seem likely to happen for the goalie at this moment. Lloris is a highly rated goalkeeper and may move to a bigger club in search of Champions League football but it is highly unlikely that the Frenchman will choose Arsenal to fulfil his ambitions. If the Gunners wish to sign Lloris, they will have to make an outrageous bid to prise him away from Tottenham.

On the other hand, Petr Cech is no longer the star he once was at Chelsea. Cech has fallen down the pecking order after the return of Thibaut Courtois from Atletico Madrid loan spell. Previously, Cecha s agent had hinted that the keeper will be open to a move to Arsenal or Liverpool in the summer. Cecha s contract ends in 2016 and if Chelsea want an appropriate price for the Czech Republic international, the 2015 summer transfer window will be ideal to cash in on the 32-year old. If Wenger is able to convince Cech to make the move to the Emirates, Mourinho will be left with no option but to take whatever comes his way for the Chelsea stalwart.

Szczesny has been in poor form recently and must wait to see if hea s recalled to the side for Saturdaya s visit of Stoke, with summer signing David Ospina having been preferred in the FA Cup victory over Hull.
