Having joined Raul at the top of Real Madrida s all-time scoring charts, Cristiano Ronaldo now has two pairs of Golden Shoes to his name, and club president Florentino Perez believes the Portuguese is hungry for more.

.

One has almost lost count of the number of milestones Cristiano Ronaldo has accomplished in his illustrious career, as the 30-year old won the Golden shoe for a record-breaking fourth time, and Perez insists Ronaldo is still at the very top of his game.

Ronaldo netted 48 goals in La Liga across the 2014-15 campaign, two more than Lionel Messi, and was presented with the award by Florentino Perez at the Santiago Bernabeau.

Perez hailed the dashing Prince from Madeira and thanked him for whatever he has given to Los Blancos. “This award goes back to show that we have a unique and exceptional player in Cristiano Ronaldo,a the Madrid president said during Tuesday’s ceremony, as reported by Goal.com

a Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player in history to win the Golden Shoe four times.

a A few days ago he became Real Madrid’s [joint] all-time leading goalscorer and now Cristiano is picking up his fourth Golden Shoe.

a It is an honour to have him at our club. Cristiano Ronaldo came to Real Madrid to win all that he has won and now he wants more.

a There is something special about him. Despite winning so many trophies, he always wants more and never gets complacent.

a Thank you Cristiano Ronaldo, on behalf of all Madridistas, for all you have given us and for all you will give us.a

Real Madrid’s hopes, as always, lie on Ronaldo, and he is the principle key to their chances of lifting any silverware this season. His consistency or lack thereof has been an area of concern, and although he has scored five goals in the league so far, all have come in the same game against Espanyol. Manager Carlo Ancelotti will also hope to see more of him in terms of providing assists and link-up play.
