Despite being linked with a move to Manchester United, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has revealed that no approach has officially been made for Pedro.
With Di Maria inching closer to a move to PSG, it was reported that Louis Van Gaal is keen on signing Pedro from Barcelona this summer in order to strengthen his squad.
We Don’t Foresee Any Departures From The Team
While Pedro had earlier confirmed that he is not happy with his situation at Barcelona, president Bartomeu revealed that no official offer has been made for the player despite the reported interest from Manchester United.
“We don’t foresee any departures from the team. I’ve read many things about a Pedro departure, but no one has officially addressed our club. Our squad is complete.”
According to Bartomeu, the club has conducted its business for the transfer season with no new singings expected this summer.
