Neymar, who has been in scintillating form for Barcelona this season, took his goal tally to 11 in La Liga with two goals against Villarreal on Sunday in the Catalans’ 3-0 win. The Blaugrana are now 3 points ahead of Real Madrid going into El Clasico, as Rafael Ben tez’s men fell to a 3-2 defeat at Sevilla later in the day.
It was the Brazilian superstar who stole all the headlines on Sunday however, with a quite astonishing goal in the dying stages of the game to put his side 3-0 up. Receiving a pass from team-mate Luis SuA?rez, Neymar took one touch, flicked the ball over the head of his marker, before rifling in a volley past a hapless Alphonse Areola in the Villarreal goal.
