FC Barcelona ace Neymar has been involved in another controversy with a video showing him intoxicated with high levels of alcohol at a house party as the player says he can never relax in his native Brazil.

A Footage has appeared online of the FC Barcelona star heavily intoxicated at end of a night spent with friends, including former Santos team-mate Ganso.

Neymar was seen in the video looking unsteady on his feet, playing with his tie and singing as he bids farewell to other guests at the party.

The 23-year-old has been criticised for his behaviour by pundits in his native Brazil who are still upset by the fact that the forward picked up a four-game ban for getting himself sent off at the end of his country’s Copa America clash with Colombia last month. The player was accused of getting violent with the referee in the aftermath of the sending off.

However, Neymar has come out and defended himself again, lamenting the fact that he is never afforded any privacy when he returns to his homeland Brazil.

“It was bad luck to have invited a person who has nothing to do [with me],” he told reporters in his homeland on Tuesday.”

“I was on holiday with my friends and that ended up happening. I cannot be at ease at home. Every day is worse.”

.

Neymar has been involved in multiple controversies off late, starting off with Athletic Bilbao game where he was accused of showing disrespect to the Bilbao player by showboating on the pitch. This was followed by remarks of Xavi who had asked Neymar to control himself during FC Barcelona’s victory parade. Then, Neymar was involved in a mass brawl in the Copa America, which was followed by a verbal assault on the referee in the tunnel that led to a four game ban for the player.

The latest controversy surrounding the FC Barcelona star can be seen in the video below.
