Blues’ boss Jos Mourinho was at his cantankerous best ahead of his side’s meeting against Newcastle United on Saturday, refusing to answer any questions relating to Diego Costa, but taking aim once again at Arsenal FC manager ArsA?ne Wenger in his latest attack on the Frenchman.
The Chelsea FC manager also insisted that he had not yet made up his mind about who would lead his team’s attack against Newcastle, with first-choice striker Diego Costa still serving his three-match suspension and therefore not available for selection.

Both Radamel Falcao and LoA?c R my started in the Blues’ midweek Capital One Cup tie against Walsall, with the Frenchman playing on the right wing, and getting his name on the scoresheet. The Colombian international, meanwhile, had a game to forget, missing several good opportunities and inviting the fans’ mirth after slipping while taking a free-kick.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the game, Mourinho insisted he had yet to make his mind up between the two. “I dona t know, I could tell you I know but I dona t,” said the Portuguese (via chelseafc.com).
“I have to keep analysing the opponent, I have to try to know more about them, who is playing, who is not playing, who is injured, who plays with Coloccini in central defence? Mbemba, Williamson or another one? I have to try to know a bit more to make my decision.
“All of them are good players, we have good strikers.”
The 52-year-old also reserved words of praise for young French defender Kurt Zouma, who scored his first Premier League goal for the club against Arsenal FC last Saturday and put in an extremely mature performance.
Mourinho said of his centre-back: “I think centre-back is his best position, yes. I think he can play in midfield, right-back and also left-back. Hea s very important for us; a young boy, strong mentality, works hard to improve, hea s a humble boy and Ia m so happy with him.”

From what appeared to be a completely unrelated question, the Chelsea FC manager decided to launch yet another tirade against the Gunners’ manager, this time claiming the Frenchman is in the unique position of being the only manager in the league to not have any pressure.
Addressing his press-conference, Mourinho said (via chelseafc.com): “In this country only one manager is not under pressure, every other manager is. Steve is under pressure, Ia m under pressure, Brendan (Rodgers) is under pressure, (Manuel) Pellegrini is under pressure.
“We cannot lose matches or be below expectations. We have to reach our objectives so I have sympathy for them and I believe they have sympathy for myself because ita s a difficult job. There is one that for some reason is outside the list, so good for him. Of course I have sympathy for Steve.
“This other one can speak about referees before the game, he can speak about referees after the game, he can push people in the technical area, he can cry in the morning, cry in the afternoon and nothing happens. He can not achieve and keep the job, still be the king, ita s a privilege.”
