Manchester United Target Arturo Vidal Wants To Quit Juventus

Manchester United target Arturo Vidal has admitted he wants to quit Juventus at the end of the season.

Manchester United look to be finally boosted in their chase of Chile international Arturo Vidal as he has admitted that he wants to quit Juventus. However, he has said that there is just one particular destination in his mind at the moment, and that is former side Colo Colo. Still, United will take that as a positive in a “take what we can get” manner.

Vidal was constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer and but it didn’t materialize by the end of it. Many had tipped the Chilean to be van Gaal’s marquee signing of the summer but the Dutchman went and got Angel de Maria and Radamel Falcao instead.

The Chilean international missed the end of last season following surgery for a meniscus injury and admitted earlier this year he had struggled to reach his previous levels. But he has said that he is back to his 100% now and spoke about a possible move away from the club.

Speaking to Radio Coperativa, Vidal said, “It annoys me that people still speak about my knee.

“After the operation I’ve had no problem. The knee is fine now, it’s 100 per cent and I am happy because I feel better.

“One day I would love to return to Colo Colo to try and win the Libertadores. You have to go step by step though. Soon I will be 28 but I still have a lot to do.”

However, these comments are a little misleading since just three days ago, he was reported to have said that he is happy at the Turin club.

Vidal explained, “I am fine in Turin and my family feels at home here.

“Why should I leave? I get on very well with everyone at the club.”

Manchester City have also been linked with a big-money move for Vidal.
