According to reports, Manchester United will begin talks with Real Madrid over the possible transfers of Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema. United will look to use De Gea’s deal as a leverage to bring both Bale and Benzema to Old Trafford.
Real Madrid are expected to announce Rafa Benitez as their new manager in the coming week and the negotiation between the two clubs will begin soon after. It is believed that De Gea has already said his final goodbyes at Carrington but United Chief Ed Woodward will be reluctant to let his star player leave for anything less than A?30million.
Bale has had a torrid season at The Bernabeu and if reports are to be believed, Benitez has already given an order to sell him. The Welshman has been repeatedly linked with a move back to the Premier League but last Tuesday he took to twitter to announce that he wants to stay at Real Madrid.
Will be working hard in the off season and looking forward to coming back next season stronger with @realmadrid #HalaMadrid (2/2)

Manchester United are lining up a A?40million bid for Karim Benzema. They have already confirmed the signing of Memphis Depay, but former United legend Phil Neville believes that LVG needs to spend another A?100million this summer to have any chance of winning any silverware.
.
He said: “This coming season is the season Van Gaal will be judged.
“Supporters will want more next year. Man United still needs to spend A?100 million to have a chance next year.a
