After an underwhelming season so far, Manchester United will be looking to add some attacking prowess to their midfield and are interested in signing one of Real Madrid’s ‘Galactico’ attackers.
James Rodriguez set the FIFA World Cup 2014 on fire, winning the golden boot, and was then involved in a big money deal that saw him move from AS Monaco to Real Madrid CF, for a fee in the region of 80 million Euros. But it now looks like the 24-year-old Colombian is unsettled at the club and has attracted interest from Manchester United.

“Rodriguez is said to be unhappy at the Bernabeu and United are looking to take advantage of the situation with a move worth up to A?58.8m for the 24-year-old.”
Now or Never
James unhappiness at the Bernabeu has reportedly been caused by the arrival of Rafa Benitez at the club. The midfielder doesn’t appreciate the Spaniards pragmatic approach to the game and his tactics do not inspire James.
If this is the case, then Manchester United will be forced to act in the January transfer window, because Benitez’ days at Real Madrid seem numbered with the recent spell of bad results and the inability to compete with Barcelona. A shock January bid could see James make his way to Old Trafford, but United will have to move sooner rather than later if they want to land the promising young midfielder.
