Manchester United Confident Of Signing Nathaniel Clyne From Southampton For A?18m

Manchester United have already started their spending spree by signing Memphis Depay last week. And their next target is Southampton right back Nathaniel Clyne. The management of Red Devils is confident of signing the youngster for 18 million pounds.

After securing a highly important win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, Manchester United are looking certain to qualify for the Champions League, but their real target is to compete for all the major trophies next season.

Manchester United appointed Louis van Gaal as their manager last summer to get their project back on track. As a part of this project, Louis van Gaal, spent huge money on new players like Angel di Maria, Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Radamel Falcao and Marcos Rojo.

This spending spree is going to continue in this summer as well as Manchester United have already signed promising youngster Memphis Depay from PSV. Louis van Gaala s next target is to find a world class right-back.

Nathaniel Clyne, 24, who joined Southampton in 2012, has performed extremely well for Saints ever since his arrival and Louis van Gaal thinks that he has got enough talent to play for Manchester United.

Manchester United have decided to act quickly in order to get their preferred targets a at a right pricea and they believe that an offer in the region of 18 million pounds would be enough to lure Southampton sale their man.

Meanwhile, reports coming from England have also confirmed the plans of Manchester United for Nathaniel Clyne.

Sunday Times has reported today that Manchester United are in advanced negotiations to sign Nathaniel Clyne from Southampton as they contiinue to strengthen their squad. United are understood to have increased their offer for the England right-back to A?18m.
