With Chelsea FC having secured the loan move for Radamel Falcao, Loic Remy is considerig his future at the London side.
Chelsea FC will pay a loan fee of around A?5million for Falcao with the option to buy him permanently next summer for A?35m. Monaco also hope to take some of the Bluesa promising young players on loan.
Following the move, Remy seeks reassurances of a starting berth in the light of Euro 2016 coming up in the summer and does not want to risk his position withing the French national team should he not start enough games for Chelsea FC.
Loic Remy was bought by Chelsea FC in a 10 million pound deal last summer as a back up to Diego Costa. The player was ahead in the pecking order to the recently departed Didier Droga whom Chelsea have replaced with Radamel Falcao if all goes well.
According to the report, Loic Remy was hoping Drogbaa s departure would improve his playing prospects for next season, but manager Jose Mourinhoa s decision to push through the decision to sign Falcao has arguably made competition even tougher.
Crystal Palace are thought to be interested in the Frenchman and also offer him the chance to stay back in London. Remy earns around A?80,000-a-week at Chelsea FC and there is optimism Palace could offer him a competitive wage.
But it remains to be seen how much the Blues would demand for Remy having signed Remy for just A?10.5million.
Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho is keen to keep Remy at the club with the Frenchman having scored seven Premier League goals in just six starts in 2014-15 season.
