The excitement surrounding Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC quickly turned to frustration as the Reds lost to newly promoted side Watford FC on Sunday.

.

A goal by Chelsea loanee Nathan Ake and a brace by Watford’s goal machine Nigerian Odion Ighalo stunned Liverpool at Vicarage road, as they lost 3-0 to leave them on 9th spot on the EPL table, a far cry from what was expected from them after the arrival of Klopp.

Fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration as Liverpool continued to underperform.

Liverpool players seem to think they have all the time in the world on the ball, constantly being easily dispossessed. Pathetic.

Liverpool got a new manager but the players are still the same. Didn’t finish 7th or 8th last season for no reason. a Didi Hamann (@DietmarHamann) December 20, 2015

SHOCKING, SHOCKING SHOCKING. 1 pt from 3 games. 24 pts from 51. Less than a 50% return. At this rate Liverpool… https://t.co/BPbb3lGyto a The Anfield Spirit (@Anfield_Spirit) December 20, 2015

And the Brendan Rodgers comparisons were, of course, inevitable.
