The 33-year-old made 25 appearances for Liverpool in the league last season, but 18 of those came as a substitute. Having scored just three goals for the club, in all competitions, Lamberta s future has come under a lot of speculation this summer.

With Liverpool looking to bolster their squad, after a largely disappointing season, Lambert has fallen further down the pecking order.
