Liverpool FC striker Rickie Lambert has drawn interest from West Bromwich Albion, as Tony Pulis looks to reshape his squad this summer.

Rickie Lamberta s dream of playing for Liverpool did come true last summer as he signed for the Merseyside club from Southampton. But it seems like the dream wona t live past its opening season.

.

The 33-year-old made 25 appearances for Liverpool in the league last season, but 18 of those came as a substitute. Having scored just three goals for the club, in all competitions, Lamberta s future has come under a lot of speculation this summer.

The Englishman is expected to be part of the big summer clear-out that will take place at Anfield. Lambert decided to turn down a move to Aston Villa in the winter transfer window, but the striker is now desperate to get regular first team action next season. With Liverpool looking to bolster their squad, after a largely disappointing season, Lambert has fallen further down the pecking order.

The Reds have already acquired the signature of Dany Ings and Roberto Firminho, while Divock Origi has returned to the club after his loan spell with Lille. Bredan Rodgers is still in the market for another new striker and has been linked with a move for Christian Benteke. This means that the likes of Lambert, Fabio Borini and Mario Balotelli could all depart in this transfer window, to make way for the new arrivals.

West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Lambert as Tony Pulis seemed to have gained control over the cluba s transfer activities. Pulis has both Lambert and QPR forward Charlier Austin in his wish list, as he looks to bolster his attack. West Brom scored just 38 goals in the league last season and most of them came through Saido Berahino, someone they are trying hard to retain beyond this window.

Apart from West Brom, Lambert has also been tracked by newly promoted Premier League side Bournemouth. Although it is believed that the striker might prefer a move to a more established EPL team. Aston Villa still retain their interest in the striker and some reports also suggest that Liverpool might look to include Lambert in a deal to sign Benteke.
