Raheem Sterling and Liverpool FC are on a collision course as the player has told the club he does not want to join their pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia with the club still expecting him to be a part of the tour. And Liverpool FC fans have not taken too kindly to another tantrum by their want away star.
In the latest twist in the Raheem Sterling saga, the player has told Liverpool FC that he does not want to join their pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia having expressed his desire to leave the club with Manchester City preparing a third offer for the player as per reports in the Telegraph.
However, Liverpool Echo is reporting that the club still expects the player to join the pre-season tour with their stance remaining unchanged and until Manchester City match his valuation, Sterling will be expected to honour his commitments with Liverpool FC.
With the club reluctant to let Sterling go unless their 50 million GBP valuation is met, clearly, the player is now trying to force his move away from the Reds by this latest step as the impasse between Manchester City and Liverpool FC continues over agreeing a fee for the player.
And Liverpool FC fans have not taken too kind to it as seen from the tweets below.
Waking up to the news of Raheem Sterling refusing to go to #LFC‘s pre-season tour. Well on his way to being more hated than Diouf.

Raheem Sterling has managed to lose every ounce of respect that I have for him. Why would you sign him as City if he might do it again?

Amazing how Raheem got a nice cozy break to Jamaica last year whilst the #LFC team got on with it. Incredible how quickly minds can change.

.
Raheem Sterling represents everything wrong with modern football. Hugely talented but got an awful attitude and ultimately all about money.

Fine Sterling for not wanting to gon on the pre-season tour, take him, make him train and don’t play him. Then sell him for 50 big ones.

This is shameful from Sterling…he has now lost that 1% of respect I had for him. #LFC.

#LFC have handled Sterling situation on their terms. So either #MCFC make an acceptable offer, or Raheem makes himself comfortable on tour
